What about the carpet. If the carpet is white or very light in color hydrogen peroxide may work to remove the toner. Use it with caution on carpeting and do not allow it to soak into the carpet backing. However this method can have a bleaching effect on dark colored carpet.

After warm water extraction steam cleaning as the carpet dries the remaining powder wicks to the surface where the white powder is now visible. Use a clean dry white towel as an alternative. Wet a paper towel with lukewarm water and wipe down the spill site s surface. Carpet powder that freshens odors and absorbs spills and messes costs a bit more than the varieties that simply neutralize smells.

Cover the stain with the towel and press down repeatedly to absorb the stain material and detergent. Removing toner stains from carpet follows many of the same principles as removing toner stains from clothing. For around 12 to 30 you can purchase multipacks of carpet powder containing on average three to six boxes or canisters of your favorite product. Otherwise use a toner vacuum.
