Tile Backsplash Over 4 Inch Granite

If you don t want to do tile now or don t know what you want to do why don t you just not do the granite up the wall and do plain counters.

If you are looking for the best design opinion we recommend doing the tile backsplash from the counter to the upper cabinets with a tile. Personally i think the granite backsplash looks terrible and especially so with tile over it. No 4 backsplash for a custom counter. That means you can choose an edgy paint color or try a trendy tile above the backsplash knowing that it can always be changed later down the road.

One of the major advantages to this lower height is that it offers you plenty of room to work with above the backsplash. Surprisingly i already have no backsplash just a 4 inch lip because there is 4 inches between the cabinet and the window over the kitchen sink. 4 inch granite backsplash with tile above a 4 inch granite backsplash is a classic choice. Back splash keep 4 inch granite from builder and add tile on top later.
